1. ATHENS FULL DAY CITY TOUR – Pick up from your hotel in the morning to start the tour of Athens, one of the most ancient cities in the world. You will pass by the House of Parliament by Constitution Square; the Memorial of the Uknown Soldier and the National Library; while driving down Herod Atticus, you will see the Evzones in their colorful uniforms and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis, you will see the Hadrian’s Arc; you will visit the temple of Olympian Zeus and make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. When you arrive to the Acropolis, you will visit this architectural masterpiece of the Golden Age of Athens; the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtehion,the Propylae and finally, the unique Parthenon. 2. ATHENS HALF DAY CITY TOUR – Pick up from your hotel in the morning to start the half-day tour of Athens, one of the most ancient cities in the world. Temple of Poseidon with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world. (On a clear day you can see at least seven islands).
3: ATHENS BY NIGHT TOUR – Pick up from your hotel in the evening to attend the Sound and Light show on Phnyx Hill, opposite the Acropolis, the party then proceeds on to dinner at one of the popular tavernas with Greek floor-show. (Drinks at the taverna not included). (D)
4: DELPHI FULL DAY TOUR – Pick up in the morning from your hotel for Delphi via the National Highway pass by Thebes, Levadia and Arachova. Visit the museum of Delphi with its spectacular findings including the world-famous Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx, and marvel at the ancient sanctuary of Apollo. After lunch return to Athens with a stop at the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, famous for its hand-woven car pets and quilts. (L)
5: ARGOUS FULL DAY – Pick up in the morning from your hotel to visit the Argolis region, including Mycenae the plain of Argos, the bay of Nauplia and the famous Theatre of Epidaurus. En route you will pass the Corinth Canal (short stop), Ancient Corinth then on to Mycenae (visit The Lions Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace). On to Nauplia, lunch, then to Epidaurus to visit the Ancient Theatre before returning to Athens. (L)
6: DELPHI TWO-DAY TOUR
DAY 1: Pick up from your hotel in the morning for Delphi, pass ing by Thebes, Levadia (short stop)- Arachova. In Delphi visit the museum with the unique statue of the Charioteer and the sanctuary of Apollo. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Delphi. (L)
DAY 2: Morning free in Delphi. After lunch return to Athens with a short stop at the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, famous for its attractive hand-woven carpets and quilts. (B, L)
