DAY 5: CRUISING- NAG -HAMDI – ABYDOS – QENA – Sailing from Luxar to Nag Hamadi where by a short ride you visit Abydas the site of the Seti I Temple one of the finest examples of Egyptian funerary art Arrive in Qena far overnight. (B L D)
DAY 6: CRUISING – DENDERAH – LUXOR – In Denderah visit the Temple of Hathor the gaddess of love beauty and fertility. Sal in the afternoon to Luxar far overnight. (B L D)
DAY 7: CRUISING LUXOR – EDFU – Morning tour visits include the Valley of the Kings Valley of the Oueens the Hatshepsut Temple and the famed Colossi of Memnon. Tonight sail on to Edfu. (B L D)
DAY 8: CRUISING EDFU – KOM OMBO – In Edfu travel by carriage to the Temple of Horus then sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Greco-Roman Temple of Kom Ombo dedicat ed to Horus and Sobek. Overnight in Kom Ombo. (BED)
DAY 9: CRUISING – ASWAN – Sail to Aswan visit the Aswan High Damand the granite quarries. Visit the unfin ished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut. Continue by motorcoach to the island of Philae to see the Temple of Isis. Afternoon sailing continues with a felucca ride see Elephantine Island the Botanical gardens and the Ago Khan Mausoleum. DAY 10: ABUSIMBEL – CAIRO – Em-bark on air excursion to Abs Simbel site of the Monumental Temple of Ramses II then fly to Cairo for overnight. (B)
DAY 11: CAIRO – In the morning visit the Citadel of Salah El Din with its Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed AIi then on to the renowned and bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar for shopping. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
DAY 12: AIRO – Free day to explore this exotic and fasci nating city. (B)
