DAY 1: EN ROUTE – Depart U.S.A. via overnight jet flight to Athens, Greece. Dinner and breakfast served on board. (D)
DAY 2: ATHENS – Arrival at the Athens air port, where you will be met by Pharos personnel and assisted through customs and bag- claim s formalities and escorted to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)
DAY 3: ATHENS – After breakfast at the hotel de art on a morning Athens city tour, which will introduce you to the most important cultural sites of this glorious city, such as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Constitution Square-Syntagma, the Presidential Palace, the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games revived in modern era, Andrian’s Arch and the Temple of Zeus, the Acropolis, where you visit the Parthenon and the museum, Tlieseum and the Greek Orthodox Cathedral – Metropolis – the Monastiraki flea market, the Academy, the University and the National Library. Overnight in Athens. (B)
DAY 4: ATHENS – Day at leisure. You may choose to take an optional tour or go on a shopping spree to the nearby Ermou Street or to the fashionable Kolonaki square. Do not miss a ride with the funicular on to Lycabettus Hill where you get the most spectacular view of the city. Athens overnight. (B)
DAY 5: ATHENS – CRUISING -MYICONOS – Today, you will be transferred to Piraeus port to embark your cruise ship for a four day Greek Island cruise. Sail on to the island of MYKONOS, famous for its jet-set atmosphere. (B,L,D)
DAY 6: CRUISING – KUSADASI – PAT MOS – Morning arrival in KUSADASI, Turkey. Excellent shopping values at the Bazaar or take the optional tour to EPHESUS. Sail on to the Greek island of PATMOS, where St. John received the Revelation and wrote the Last Book of the New Testament. (B,L,D)
DAY 7: CRUISING – RHODES – Full day on the island of the Knights and the site of Colossus of Rhodes. Visit the old town, sur rounded by the impressive walls of the Castle of the Knights, or take an optional tour to the Acropolis of Lindos. (B,L,D)
DAY 8: CRUISING – CRETE – SANTORINI – Today, in the morning, visit the charming city of HERAKLION in Crete and take an optional tour to Knossos Palace to explore the Minoan Civilization. In the afternoon, visit the famous SANTORINI island, land of the legendary sunken Atlantis. (B,L,D)
DAY 9: ATHENS – DEPARTURE – Morning arrival at Piraeus port, disembarkation and transfer to the airport for the return flight to New York. (Extensions available. Sequence of cruise itinerary may change according to the cruise line involved) (B,L,S)
