9 DAYS – 8 NIGHTS  MONDAY & FRIDAY DEPARTURES

DAY 1: EN ROUTE – Depart U.S.A. via overnight jet flight to Larnaca, Cyprus. Dinner and breakfast served on board. (D)

DAY 2: LARNACA – Arrival at Lornaca airport, where you will be met and assisted by Pharos personnel, escorted to your hotel for overnight. (B)

DAY 3: LARNACA CRUISING – Free day to at leisure to explore Larnaca, one of the most beautiful seaside resort areas of the island with superb beaches. Afternoon, transfer to the port to board your cruise ship for a three day cruise to Israel and Egypt. (B,D)

DAY 4: CRUISING ISRAEL – Today, spend a full day visiting the Holy land and its sacred sites. Driving past Mt. Carmel and through the cities of Netanya, Herzliyya and Tel Aviv and the Famous orange groves of Jaffa. Begin touring Jerusalem and the holy sites. Proceed to Mt. of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, the Kidron Valley and Bethlehem. Return back to Haifa to board your cruise ship. (B,l,D)

DAY 5: CRUISING EGYPT – Another full day of excitement in the land of the Pharaohs. Visit the bustling city of Cairo and its famous museum which houses the treasures of Tutankhamen. Visit Giza and gaze upon one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids. Return to Port Said and board your cruise ship for the return journey to Cyprus.

DAY 6: LARNACA – After disembarkation, you will be escorted to your hotel. Tonight you will be entertained Cyprus style at a local taverna with Cypriot mezedes, fine local wines and lots of music and dancing. (B,D)

DAY 7: LARNACA – TROODOS MOUNTAINS – KYKKOS – Start the day early, tour the scenic villages of Troodos mountains, on to the pine-clad Throni peak of

Olympus mountain, site of Archbishop Makarios’ tomb. Proceed to the famous Kykko monastery where the miraculous icon of Christ and the Virgin Mary is located.

DAY 8: LARNACA – Day at leisure to enjoy the sparkling Mediterranean waters. (B)

DAY 9: LARNACA-DEPARTURE – Morning disembark and transfer to Larnaka airport For return flight to New York. (Extensions available. Sequence of tours may change.) (B,1,S)
