DAY 1: EN ROUTE – Depart New York via overnight let flight to Cairo, Egypt. Meals and refreshments served on board. (D)

DAY 2: CAIRO – On arrival at Cairo airport your Pharos tour host will meet and assist you through arrival formalities and escort you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 3: CAIRO – Breakfast at your hotel. Morning city tour with visit to the famous Museum of Antiquities, the Citadel of Salah El Din with its Alabaster Mosqueof Mohammed Au and the renowned Khan El Khalili Bazaar. In the afternoon, continue tour with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the lion-headed Pharaoh, guardian of the Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 4: CAIRO. ASWAN – (Sleeper train) – Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Noon check-out from your hotel. Afternoon transfer to the train station for overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Accommodation in private compartment with dinner and breakfast. Enjoy the ride of the Egyptian mainland to Aswan. Overnight on train. (B, D)

DAY 5: ASWAN – NILE CRUISE – Breakfast on board the train. Morning arrival in Aswan. Your host will escort to the Nile Cruise ship for a three-night cruise. Lunch on board. In the afternoon enjoy a typical “felucca” ride along the shores of Elephantine Island and the West Bank where you will visit the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Return to your ship for dinner and overnight. DAY 6: ASWAN – KOM OMBO EDFU – After break fast, depart for the tour visiting the Aswan High Dam and the Philae Temple, rescued from the rising river waters after the construction of the Aswan Dam. Lunch on board the cruise ship. Sail to Kom Ombo where you visit the twin Temple of the crocodile-headed God Sobek and the falcon-headed God Horus. Dinner will be served on board while your ship sails to Edfu. (B, L, D)

DAY 7: EDFU – ESNA – LUXOR – Breakfast on board. Your carriage tour takes you for a visit of the Temple of God Horus. Return to cruise ship and sail to Luxor. Lunch on board sailing via the port of Esna. Arrive in Luxor late after noon. Balance of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)

DAY 8: LUXOR – CAIRO – Breakfast on board. Disembark and depart for Luxor Temples and Karnak tour on the East bank of Luxor. Tour ends at local airport for return flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 9: CAIRO – DEPARTURE – After breakfast you will be escorted to the airport for your return flight to New York. (B)
