DAY 2: CAIRO – On arrival at Cairo airport your Pharos tour host will meet and assist you through arrival formali ties and escort you to your hotel. Welcome briefing and program presentation. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 3: CAIRO – Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour with visits to the famous Museum of Antiquities, the Citadel of Salah El Din with its Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed AIi and the renowned Khan El Khalili Bazaar. In the after noon, visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the lion-headed image of Pharaoh Chephren, guardian of the Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 4: CAIRO – LUXOR – Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you will fly to Luxor. Your local host will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight in Luxor. (B)

DAY 5: LUXOR – Breakfast at the hotel. Today, visit Luxor, once known as the ancient city of Thebes. Begin with a ferry ride to the West bank – the necropolis of Thebes, and visit the Valley of Kings and Oueens, the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. In the afternoon, visit the grand Temples of Luxor and Karnak on the East bank of Luxor. Over-night in Luxor. (B)

DAY 6: LUXOR – ASWAN – Breakfast at the hotel. Morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival met by your local host and escorted to your hotel. Enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile with a visit of the Agha Khan Mausoleum and a view of Elephantine Island. Balance of day at leisure. Overnight in Aswan. (B)

DAY 7: ASWAN – CAIRO – After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a tour visiting the Aswan High Dam, the unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple. Return to Aswan airport for a short flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (B)

DAY 8: CAIRO – AT LEISURE – Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a free day at leisure. Revisit your favorite sites or the Mummies room at the Museum of Antiquities, bar gain at the bazaar for copper, silver, brass, leather and gold goods or try your luck in one of the many casinos. At night you may wish to have a farewell dinner (option al) with local Folk Dance show in one of the floating Nile river restaurants. (B)

DAY 9: CAIRO – DEPARTURE – After breakfast at the hotel you will be escorted to the airport for your return
